Portrait and landscape photographer

based in Vienna, Austria

About me

Born in Tehran, Iran, I grew up in Nice, France, studied cinema and communication in Paris, worked on film sets and as a script doctor for French TV companies. In 1999, I moved to Moscow, Russia, where I spent 23 years working first in marketing, then as a photographer after graduating from the Moscow Photography Academy.

In 2022, I moved to Vienna, Austria with my wife and three daughters.

In my portrait photography, I strive to highlight my models’ beauty and the intensity of their inner world by making them feel authentic, “self centered” and, of course, comfortable. I am mainly influenced by 1930s old Hollywood lightning style and contemporary creative photographers such as Lindsay Adler or Nick Fancher. I love to experiment with colours, shapes and lightnings.

With models, I can communicate in English, German, Russian or French.

Beyond portrait photography, I also have a passion for landscape photography in and out of cities.
